Mr. Donald Tsang, President of the Executive Council of Hong Kong visited today the Saudi Arabia pavilion. Leading an official delegation, the head of Hong Kong special administration region was greeted at the entrance of the Saudi pavilion by Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Shaikh, Commissioner General,  Mr. Abdulhamid Hasan, Director and the pavilion’s senior staff.

Mr. Tsang shared impressions about the Expo with his hosts, before going on a tour of the “Moon Boat”.

 

After he enjoyed a ride through the “Treasure Hall Cinema”, and a journey to the “Arabian Oasis” on the rooftop, and a treat to Saudi cultural music and dance, Mr. Tsang expressed his admiration for the Saudi pavilion, writing : “with great admiration and respect for Saudi Arabia’s achievements”

The Pavilion’s Commissioner General offered a special gift to the Hong Kong Chief Executive, as another wonderful souvenir from the Kingdom.

Saudi Pavilion Praised for Success at the Largest World Expo in History

Chinese President Hu Jintao visited the Saudi pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo 2010 on Thursday.

September 23rd marks the unification of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by its founder King Abdulaziz Al Saud and the beginning of the journey of development and growth of the land of the Two Holy Mosques, Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah AL-Munawwarah.

Saudi Arabia is displaying the Tent City of Mina in the Urban Best Practices Area for the first time as an innovative and life-improving urban experiment.
