Portuguese and Mexican Ministers Visit Saudi Pavilion and Appreciate its Displays

In two separate occasions, the Saudi pavilion welcomed today two Ministers;His Excellency Mr. Antonio Serrano, Minister of Agrilculture of Portugal, followed by Her Excellency Mrs. Sandra Herrera, Minister of Natural Resources of Mexico.

Mr. Abdulhamid Hasan, the pavilion Director and the Saudi pavilion’s senior staff received their distinguished guests and offered them a taste of Saudi hospitality, before leading the Ministers through the rooftop oasis, where they enjoyed the path lined with date trees and the Bedouin tent featuring the desert landscape of some regions in the Kingdom.

They continued their visit through the “Treasure Hall Cinema” and its giant immersive screen, watching the story of the Kingdom’s development and achievements with deep interest.

After the tour, the Portuguese and Mexican Ministers were presented with a special gift from the Saudi pavilion. H.E. Mr Serrano thanked and strongly congratulated the Saudi staff for the success, as for H.E. Mrs Herrera she stated “the pavilion is beautiful and represents very well the country and its culture”.

Saudi Pavilion Praised for Success at the Largest World Expo in History

Chinese President Hu Jintao visited the Saudi pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo 2010 on Thursday.

September 23rd marks the unification of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by its founder King Abdulaziz Al Saud and the beginning of the journey of development and growth of the land of the Two Holy Mosques, Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah AL-Munawwarah.

Saudi Arabia is displaying the Tent City of Mina in the Urban Best Practices Area for the first time as an innovative and life-improving urban experiment.
