Palestinian Minister of National Economy Pays Tribute to the Saudi Pavilion at the Shanghai Expo

The Saudi Pavilion at Expo 2010 Shanghai received today His Excellency. Dr. Hasan I. H. Abu Libdeh, Minister of National Economy of Palestine where he was welcomed by Mr. Abdulhamid Hasan, pavilion Director.

 

The Palestinian Minister, passing through Expo Shanghai for the Palestine national day visited the Saudi Pavilion. After sharing Arabic coffee served with dates, H.E. Dr. Hasan I.H. Abu Libdeh was accompanied for a visit of the Saudi Pavilion's famed “Treasure Hall Cinema” followed by the magnificent rooftop “Arabian Oasis”, and continued with the Saudi folklore troupe’s performance.

 

After the tour, the Palestinian Minister of National Economy declared that he was “extremely proud of the impressive and innovating exhibition in the Saudi Pavilion, which displays the ancient history and shows the excellence and the diversity of the Kingdom”.

Saudi Pavilion Praised for Success at the Largest World Expo in History

Chinese President Hu Jintao visited the Saudi pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo 2010 on Thursday.

September 23rd marks the unification of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by its founder King Abdulaziz Al Saud and the beginning of the journey of development and growth of the land of the Two Holy Mosques, Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah AL-Munawwarah.

Saudi Arabia is displaying the Tent City of Mina in the Urban Best Practices Area for the first time as an innovative and life-improving urban experiment.
